Doing a cover is always a dicey proposition. If people like it, you become the band that does this great cover (I think their original stuff is okay?) and if people hate it, you've just burned a song in the set that you could have played one of your own for them to hate instead. We've tried a lot over the years. Also, the Dick Van Dyke Show and Jerry Lewis Soccer All-Stars. It's Episode 94!

Eamonn returns for a "How does it actually happen?" kind of episode. How did we get management? Do we deserve management? Does anyone deserve anything? Why is Eamonn back on Craigslist? It's all answered in a stunning Episode 90!

I don't imagine many people plan on having six boys, five of whom sell their lives to music with varying degrees of success. Meet my mom. A doctorate and college professor, all-the-while spending 47 years as a mother. It was high time we had her on for a very special Episode 89.

Another drive home on the way from practice, but wait! There's Taco Bell, building managers, and nothing else remotely interesting about the music of The Kickback, but you might want to listen anyway. Why? HAVE YOU EVER RIDDEN HOME WITH A BAND FROM BAND PRACTICE? Didn't think so. See you for a compelling Episode 84!

It's just Billy and he's talking about some of the less great parts of the last few months. It gets better, so don't get down. If it ain't bleak, it ain't us. It's your new year and we're doing it right on Episode 83.

As we attempt to get back into "on the road" podcasting, you'll catch a glimpse of the strain that van problems, cancelled flights, and god-awful weather can provide. Recorded mostly in voice memos between Chicago and New York, jump in the van for a taste of touring. It's an Interstate 80 special Episode 81!

Another across-the-town-drive episode, tune in to hear the origin and death of Little Tommy and the Squeakers, further XBox updates from Daniel, and Jonny's student loan nightmare. It ain't great, but at least it's on time. Enjoy another blinker-filled Episode 80!

There's no better way to celebrate my birthday today than to put this out into the world. Recorded back in early August, Jim was willing to sit down to talk about...well...everything just minutes after putting the finial touches on mixes for the album. If you're looking for a glimpse into the darkest crevices of Jim Eno, this isn't it. This was a chance to ask one of my heroes questions I'd had for years. Hope you enjoy one of our prouder episodes, Episode 78!

Title says it all and may be the only mildly interesting part of this episode as we commence the "long, long winter" of trying to sell the damn record. It's an admittedly (even more so than usual) lamepisode Episode 77.

Attempting to visualize a life where music pays bills? Attempting to solve an album art dispute? Attempting to not choke out your podcasting partner in the depths of a caffeine binge? It's all here for you, recorded hours before the earth-shaking Batman news. It's a virtually Batman-less Episode 76!
